The Secret to Perfect Grass Mowing

Mowing grass is one of the daily routines of every proud garden owner, you could say that it is one of the essential habits of everyone who likes to garden or has a backyard. Important to mention that it is only one of the many habits needed to be a successful gardener. You also ned to learn landscaping, and how to remove trees and keep thing sin order. You might also need to know how to cut and remove wood from trees as well as other waste products like rotten soil or vegetables. Most of these things can take a lot of time and energy and are often best left to construction workers or tradesmen. But we will be giving you some hands on ways of doing it yourself. Since mowing grass is a staple of any gardeners repertoire you will have to probably revisit this article more than once to get it right.

  1. Use a ride own lawn mower.

In the most simple terms possible, a ride on lawn mower is the best tool you can use to mow grass. Not only does it save time but it is a very good even cutter of grass and it leaves minimal to zero waste, since it collects up all the cut grass and debris into it’s internal collection bin.
A new feature coming out in ride-on lawn mowers is that they can now compress they’re collected debris to a great degree.

  1. Get the trees out the way

It’s no good mowing lawns when there are trees in the way. You have to remove them, cut them down or remove the stumps in your backyard so you have a clear blank yard to work with. Of course some magazines will tell you to leave it natural and decorate it, but being in the home and garden industry for so long we have always come to the same conclusion when designing back yards and mowing grass. That it has to be a flat backyard first before you can really achieve anything on it.

  1. Do not use turf

Although you may be tempted to use turf because you can already not have to cut it, think about it twice. Turf sounds like a good idea at first, but in reality, there are for more disadvantages. For example, it is permanent and you may miss the feeling of having fresh grass underneath your feet, or of the smell of fresh grass. Turf cannot give you that same experience. Also Turf is way more expensive than even the best quality grass. The only reason I can imagine anyone wanting to use turf is if they play a lot of sport.
